Tactical Medical Provider Course
The HTP Medic program trains qualified Paramedics to become fully trained Certified Tactical Paramedics who can move directly onto a SWAT or High Threat Protection team with the understanding and credentials to perform effectively on that team. Graduates understand the role of the TP-C and how to perform tactical as well as medical duties. As RTF Technician graduates, they lead their departments in Rescue Task Force operations, training and preparation.

The online distance learning program is conducted through Jones and Bartlett Online Learning. This is a very involved program and will require complete dedication. Those who do not achieve passing grades in TMP Phase I & III will not progress to the ground level training and will have to retake the program.
​
The TMP program provides education and training enabling graduates to test for the TP-C certification through IBSC.
